Dr Yilin Gui is a Senior Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering. He was Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering in Newcastle University, UK, and Research Fellow in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore and Monash University, Australia. He obtained his PhD from University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney and Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Newcastle University, UK. He is a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy and editorial board member of Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. His research interests are focused on geomechanics, computational and constitutive modelling of geomaterials, Geoenvironmental Engineering. Recently, his research interest extended to sustainable engineered construction materials and engineering material circularity.
